How to Pray an Anglican Rosary

Sitting quietly, away from distractions and disturbances, take the rosary comfortably in both hands.  For each step, take the requisite bead between finger and thumb.

Start at the Cross.

If there are no set words for this particular part of the Rosary you have chosen, simply start with:  "In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen."

Next is the Invitatory Bead: If there are no specific words for this bead, try:  "O God, make speed to save us. O Lord, make haste to help us."

On each Cruciform bead, pray the set’s chosen Cruciform prayer.

On each bead of the Weeks, pray the selected Week prayer.

After four sets of weeks you return to the Invitational Bead for the concluding prayer.  If there is no concluding prayer written, you might use a variation of thr invitational prayer.

Final Blessing or Gloria at the Cross:

Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit;
as it was in the beginning, is now, and shall be for ever.

Amen.
